ARTICLE 1 – PURPOSE

These General Terms and Conditions govern the rental of all-terrain electric scooters as well as participation in guided rides offered by the company TROTT'PÉI.
Any reservation implies the customer's full and unreserved acceptance of these conditions.


ARTICLE 2 – CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

  • The activity is accessible from14 years old.

  • Participants aged 14 to 17 must provide written parental authorization . The legal guardian must be present at the start of the activity to present the minor's identification.

  • The maximum permitted weight is 115 kg .

  • Each participant declares that they are in good physical condition, have no medical contraindications and undertakes to inform TROTTÉA of any pathology requiring special attention (asthma, diabetes, joint problems, etc.).

  • Wearing the provided protective equipment (helmet, gloves, etc.) is mandatory .

  • Participants agree to follow the GPS routes and safety instructions provided by TROTTÉA.


ARTICLE 3 – FRAMEWORK

The guided walks are led by experienced guides from TROTTÉA


ARTICLE 4 – LIABILITY AND INSURANCE

  • TROTTÉA has Professional Civil Liability insurance for the activities it organizes.

  • This insurance covers the company's liability but does not replace the client's personal insurance, who must have their own civil liability insurance and it is strongly recommended to take out individual accident insurance .

  • The customer is responsible for the equipment provided. In case of theft, loss, breakage or damage, they will be required to compensate TROTTÉA for the cost of repair or the price of new equipment.

  • TROTT'PÉI cannot be held responsible for the loss, theft or damage of personal items carried by the customer (glasses, phones, cameras, etc.).


ARTICLE 5 – DEPOSIT AND ID

  • A deposit of €1,000 per scooter is required (bank imprint or uncashed check).

  • A valid form of identification must be presented before starting the activity.

  • TROTTÉA reserves the right to refuse rental or participation in the activity in the event of failure to provide a deposit or identity, without refund.


ARTICLE 6 – PRICE AND PAYMENT

  • Prices are listed on TROTTÉA's website and communication materials.

  • Online booking is mandatory and requires full payment for the service.

  • Accepted payment methods: cash, bank card, bank transfer, check, holiday vouchers .


ARTICLE 7 – CANCELLATIONS

7.1 Cancellation by the customer

  • More than 30 days before the scheduled date: full refund .

  • Between 15 and 30 days: the deposit is retained .

  • Less than 3 days: the balance is due .
    In the event of justified force majeure, TROTTÉA may offer a postponement or a partial refund, without obligation.

7.2. Cancellation due to TROTTÉA

TROTTÉA may cancel an activity for safety reasons (weather conditions, breakdown, force majeure).
In this case, a new date will be offered or a full refund will be issued, without additional compensation.


ARTICLE 8 – DELAYS AND EXCLUSIONS

  • No delays are tolerated : departures are at the agreed time. Any absent participant forfeits their right to the service without refund.

  • TROTTÉA reserves the right to exclude any participant who is drunk, under the influence of drugs, or behaving dangerously, without refund or compensation.


ARTICLE 9 – GIFT VOUCHERS

  • Gift vouchers are valid for 12 monthsfrom their date of issue.

  • They are transferable to another person upon prior request to TROTTÉA.

  • Once the expiry date has passed, they are considered consumed and no refund will be given.


ARTICLE 10 – PERSONAL DATA & IMAGE RIGHTS

Personal data

The personal data collected during bookings (name, surname, telephone, email, etc.) are used solely for the management of activities and communication relating to TROTTÉA services.
They are neither resold nor used for other commercial purposes.

This data is kept for a maximum of 3 years after the last activity carried out.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, each customer has a right:

  • access,

  • rectification,

  • erasure,

  • opposition,

  • and the portability of its data.

These rights can be exercised by sending a request to TROTTÉA at the following email address: trattea17@gmail.com .

Image rights

During the course of its activities, TROTTÉA may need to take photographs or videos to illustrate its communication materials (website, social networks, brochures, etc.).
Unless expressly objected to in writing before the start of the activity, the client authorizes TROTTÉA to use their image free of charge and without time limitation, strictly within the framework of promoting its activities.
In case of refusal, the client must inform TROTTÉA before the start of the activity.


ARTICLE 11 – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services provided on a specific date.


ARTICLE 12 – DISPUTES AND MEDIATION

In the event of a dispute, the parties will endeavor to find an amicable solution.
Failing that, the consumer client may contact a consumer mediator free of charge in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code.
In the absence of an agreement, any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts and French law.
